she's everything i've imagined
everything i've longed for
she's everything i've dreamt about
and much, much more
in the midst of the dark
she shines like a light
through the worst storm
she shines just as bright
and when troubles appear
she brings tranquility
when the world crumbles
God is her stability
she is of more value
than a sea of diamonds
she is more beautiful
than what any poet pens
for this girl
i would wait ten thousand lifetimes
i would give her my heart
for without her i have no rhymes
i ask God daily
to grant me this request
to find the perfect girl i seek
and to be a man thats up to the test
