You asked me once if you would ever get to be president, I said to my innocent child that height is limitless.
I came to your dance performance and you wanted to know if I thought you did well.
I told you I felt you soar in the air.
You got to be in an academic challenge, and wanted to know how I thought you would do.
I told you my child that your brain would soar through questions.
You got a scholarship to a college and you said that you were afraid.
I said to my child you have been out of your cocoon for so long why go back now when you have begun to soar.
I watched you graduate from college and go on to a job in Washington D.C.
I cried and you asked what was wrong I told you am scared because the heights you soar are limitless...
