A project idea for you.

Beat. Yes a simple word, in it's self means little. You say Beat most people think fist fights and sporting events but for the few more enlightened readers it means  American Lit as well as poetry of all types from haikus to free form. They think of the lost generation the truely lost generation the one after the 2d world war and before the baby boomers of the 1950's and 60's. The were writers and musician and just simple people who wanted a simple life, they didt care if you were black white cristian and jew they only cared if you were smart enough to understand them enough to have a good conversation. They were writers like Jack Kerouac who wrote On The Road about travels he had and other like Burrouose you wrote The naked Lunch about real life during the times that were. There was Allan Ginsbeg a poet from Jersey who wrote HOWL the poem that summed up life other poets like Gary Snyder who wrote haikus and broght the spirutual teachings of buddhism to america and the Beats.

So this is the project. Find the sould of Beat the inner part f all of them the screamed into a world that was cookie cutter perfect world that in reaity was anything but. Find the Beat.
