Creating rhymes deep in slumber
The smell of earl grey, cinnamon
Lulling me to sleep
In the dark, closed spaces
A spout for breathing,
Porcelain walls for protection
"Move down, move down!"
Drifting into my dreams
Of little bats and stars
All interrupted by fingers and sound.

Fun, fun, fun!
I've always enjoyed the Alice stories, such surrealism. You have encapsulated a wonderful little image of the dormouse! (just whisper if you have to say, well you know...) Thanks for entering and making me smile! -
Great take for a tea party. I like where you took this. Riftkin
