Emptiness fills my soul inside
Darkness hides the tears I've cried
The grayscale smoke blurs my vision
As I walk away from this head on collision
Ever since then, I feel so alone
With my imaginary wings, I have flown
Far away from this hateful place
Where I don't have to see your face
Where no one knows my real name
And no one knows your little game
Isolation doesn't do me any good
But I have done all that I could
To erase my memory of you
Turn it to black and bid adieu
You never knew who I really was
And that is simply just because
Underneath your longing stare
You never really had a care

Hey, this poem is awesome! Nicely written with a different style of imagery, which I enjoyed alot. I knew the picture you used before I checked so well done, you definitly achieved that well! There were some brilliant lines in this poem that i'd like to pick out, but I won't, because there's so many of them. Thanks for your entry. Well done!
