The snow is falling,
Softly to the ground,
Drifting slowly,
Making no sound,
Then landing softly,
On the cool ground,
Each flake is different,
A unique design,
Each little flake,
Falls so gracefully,
Sparkling in the moonlight,
The children are sleeping,
But when they awake,
and see such a sight,
Their breath it will take!
The snow keeps falling,
Until Christmas morn,
The children awake,
And look outside,
To see to their surprise,
Something they've wished for,
Before their little eyes.
They are all excited,
And then they decide,
The first Christmas snow has fallen,
What a great surprise!
