surrounding in the dream
is a truly wondrous place
with, thriving off the beauty,
an ever present grace
cast solely by the magic
is a beautiful blue light
the amazing glow creates
a day from darkest night
the sound, so wonderful
bouncing, laughing of the trees
deepens not only what one hears
but also what one sees
a magic, present too
is felt in the fresh air
a small but giant light
dances everywhere
the trees are large and strong
not bending in airs breath
their life is long eternal
knowlegde on all but death
the water pure and clear
supply never dwindling down
and it is hard to adjust
to the beauty that surrounds
i cant begin to tell
of the wonders everywhere
but i urge all, friends and foes
to go, and visit there.

This poem was very fun to read. The imagery is beautiful, and the language is very well chosen. My only complaint would be that it's nice imagery without an underlying theme, but the considering the contest it was entered in that's probably appropriate. Nevertheless, the way it's written just makes it downright pleasant to read. Nice job!

i really like this bit as i felt it really portrayed the beautiful, wise and majestic nature of big old trees, i just love it. well done
