Lovers sitting by a fireplace
Holding each other in a warm embrace
Not caring if they are seen
By the neighbors standing in the street
Holding each other is all that matters
Loving each other all other thoughts scatter
Presents wrapped under the tree
Neither one caring to peak and see
Hidden discretely within it's boughs
There is one box only one lover knows about
One present waits for the morning to bring
A chance for him to pull out the ring
The angel looks down from her high tower
Blessing the lovers with all her power
"Tomorrow you shall become the ones
Who will show the world that love can't be undone"
But until Christmas morning can bring
The lover and his sparkling ring
The two of them sit by the fireplace
Holding each other in a warm embrace
