Haiku Healer

Haiku humor
Within a well felt tumor
Became holy rumor

Author notes

Humor leads to reason for living leads to healing leads to disease in all its varied forms to retreat until we wonder what it was in the first place.  Freedom comes from the inside out (the center of the tumor must be reached for healing).  Ever meet someone who had cancer but had a really good attitude?  I have.  They died, but only physically...their spirit couldn't be taken.  Laughter is good medicine.  Sometimes, I've heard, a person can WILL away sickness...serious sickness, too!  But either way...humor is a win/win.  Be of good cheer, for I have overcome....Peace & Love.  ET

    ah, yes. brings back memories. i recall this one of yours and i'm glad you entered it into the contest. i don't think i would have "gotten it" without the explanation, so it is DEFinitely stimulating in the thought department. however, for me, the elusive meaning also translates to elusive connection on my part.

    thanks so much for taking time to enter this contest. i appreciate it!

    although i do sense the seriousness of this piece
    (yep susan, i think he's talking about you know what)
    think laughter is what got me over a really tough patch these past few months...maybe even why i'm feeling so much better.
    looking forward to reading more of your work...actually "discovered" you via a comment you made on one of musestalker's newest pieces...it made me laugh so hard, i had to come and visit!

    Oh LOL...I am always wondering where your mind wanders. Sometimes I read your thoughts and poetry and I wonder if you think too much {not that is ever a bad thing, in fact it may be a blessing}

    Funny little Ku you have here...definately unique~~ could only come from a mind that rolls around as much as yours seems too

    Read this countless times ET...and the only clues are the bright uplifting picture and the title...so am presuming , perhaps incorrectly , that it conveys hope...that its all in the perception and how we view life ??

    Thought provoking in its brevity...!!!
