A Simple Gift


Life's journeys have brought me to crossroads;
contemplating each footstep taken,
your love flourishes at every corner

smiles grace my heart,
tears fall, in laughter upon my blush

because of you my best friend;
life is so much brighter
so much fuller~

you walk beside me in heart,
holding holds from a distance
sharing our thoughts and dreams,
laughing at our quirks;
crying together in strength

without you being a part of me
my world just wouldn’t be whole~

    Great job. Best friends are great and are huge parts in everyone's lives. They help make us whole as you said. This is a very true piece from the heart, great job and best of luck in the contest.
