todays prayer

Lord,
lift me up and give me wings.
For,  I have seen a great many things.
Some of strength.
Some from fear.

Have I been to blind to hear?
Listen to your message. I must
see the things of righteousness.

Lord,
Lift me up upon your halo
so I may see
where your calling me to go.

Have I been to loud to see
whom it is I should be?

Lord,

lift me up and give me wings

so I may

again

see a great many things.

This is a such a beautiful prayer poem, written straight from the heart. These are prayers that many of us probably have prayed at one time or another throughout our lives. You did a nice job on this poem. Thanks so much for entering. Blessings, Patty

I'm not a spiritual person but this poem was powerfully written and was not cliche, which is good. Thank you for entering my contest and good luck.

The best I would give this is honourable mention. It is well expressed but should have been proofread more carefully. There are a couple of mistakes.

    Beautiful

But check your grammar. Sorry, I'm a stickler. Other than that, though? I like it.

    Just the grammar...
