Mirror, Mirror

Those hazel eyes
Painted over
With almost blond
Brown hair
Linked with mine
From a short distance
That always
Seemed so far
A rare smile
Would stretch
Across his face
I'd mirror him
People
Barriers
Between us
Seemed
To walk slower
If not stop
All together
Nothing mattered
A gaze
Seemed to be
My world
Then his girl
Came over
His smile melted
His eyes rolled
He mouthed "sorry"

Author notes

Eh, er, eh. A poem I based off of part of a story that I based off of something that really happened. Hmmmm. Mornings are not good anymore, for this happens no longer. :'(

Can you tell what it's about, I was told it is confusing?

Aw thanks. He actually is right now, but I don't really want to be with him anymore. Plus, haven't seen him in almost 6 months.
