lost cities, sunken and beings evolved
to hum sea songs
Sirens of water, stirring an ocean of angst
with the want to touch the sun
to feel it full and round
upon the face of sorrow
what could be taken back
is sung in fractured bone-sound voices
oh legs of land, heed flooded feelings
of wishing to right wrong

The question in your author notes is truly one to ponder. Your poem makes me see and feel so much. The depths of the waters must some day give up their dead. Hmmmm... a great work of mind provoking poetry here dear sister. I wish you the best in the comp.
Much Love & May the Blessings of Christmas rain down on You and Your Family
