Megan loved the color purple & having fun,
She would steal your heart, and always won,
Full of laughter & the humor she spoke,
Just thinking of her death makes me choke,
I want her here so badly right now,
Sometimes I wonder of just why & how?
God took her away & here I grieve,
Nothing seems complete & empty to achieve,
I know she's in heaven full of her grace,
She went up to heaven to see God's face,
I'll never forget her, Never I say,
I will never forget those wonderful days,
Megan was beautiful, & the smile she had,
Defended her friends & made you feel glad,
She'd stick out that tougue so jokingly you see,
But her life tragically ended when the car hit the tree.
Megan, my angel died instantly, to heaven she went,
Her time here on earth was on sixteen years spent,
Now here comes the one year of her flying so high,
I look at her picture and I painfully cry.

Oh hon, this is just so sad. You have written something truly beautiful in honor of Megan, and I am sure that she reads it from above and is so proud. You have such a big heart, and it shows in all you write.
Much love to ya!

A beautiful poem but so very sad. I can tell from reading this poem that Megan meant the world to you - I know when my friend died, even when it was a year on, it still seemed like yesterday. I wish you all the best on that day, remember that Megan is with you always, guiding you through - she really is your guardian angel
Much love to you

Excellent writing but sad
There will come a time when you look at the picture and a smile of the grace of Megan's memory will come to your face I think because it does for me with my dad and my mom. I mean I still have a wave of intense loss but it is like it just is a reminder of how much I loved them instead of how much I hurt as it once was. How sad if nobody missed you when you died and my mom and dad are both truly missed like your precious friend, Megan.

pure sadness
Rose....you know such sorrow. At such a young age. it's not fair, but fair doesn't always mean the same. Your like will be full of love and happiness at some point to come, and there will be a time when you can look at her picture and smile instead of cry. When you think of her you'll smile and feel the breeze on your face and know she is near. Fear not friend. THese times will come.

Oh...
How sad! I don't know what I would do if I ever lost my sister...it's come close to happening since she's suicidal, but still... it's too sad to think about. I'm sorry for your loss... But this poem was amazing... just great rhyme and flow throughout the entire thing...
Keep it up!

Jack Hertz once said to me that you cant criticize a poem from the heart and this truly is a sad and heartfelt poem.
I would criticize if I could but its too sad to comment on.
You cannot criticize a poem like that (I think Ive said that)
Its a very sad piece.
Good use of rhyme.

This piece was nothing short of amazing. My fave part was "God took her away & here I grieve,
Nothing seems complete & empty to achieve," This poem sent chills down my spine. Great write!
