i want a house
one wi'a gravel drive
recessed in
overgrowen hedges
and hugged wi' ivy
one wi' stone walls
and creaking wood floors
who's perpetual chill
is covered by
the warm, worn
woolen rugs
i want a house
wi' lilac trees and
weeping willows
ushering in
the first glints of light
winds spreading
jasmin in the eve
a house that is
quaint, if ye will
old fashioned even
but...
full of vibrent colour
a world of
impossible possibilities
just waiting to be discovered
to welcome
one who is observant enough
to find the door
Author notes
was pondering, and realised that the home i wish for, is in a way much an expression of myself.
Please tell me what you think

a lovely welcoming cottage with a hearth of fires licking at the oak slabs, and warm gravies simmering, and warmer lips awaiting that kiss of greeting....lovely write and house indeed.

Powerful imagery in your words indeed. I can see your wished for home in my mind. I believe we all dream of that ideal place away from the world where we are safe and hopefully one day some of us even find it. Or maybe its that place in our mind we can go to when we need too. I don't know. An awesome write!!!
