Happiness

We are all the sun
Shinning bright throughout the day
Like the sun, we're venerable
A cloud may take our shine away
A storm may rage on for days or weeks with no end in sight
The clouds will part and the sun will shine just as bright

The sky may boom
The wind may roar
But happiness lies just behind that stained glass door
Its locked in that room just trying to get out
Because no one deserves a life full of doubt

Sadness is the cloud passing by
Anger is the thunder that shakes the sky
Happiness will always make it through
Happiness will wait for you

    I love the structure and just everything about this poem. It is absolutely amazing. Your talent is far superior to my own. Reading this poem makes me realize how far I really have to go, and yet, your the same age as me! It's a wonderful poem. I love the rhyme and the visuals you bring along with this poem.     Oh, wow. This is phenomenal, even more impressive in comparison to the other poems of yours I've seen so far. I am very impressed. Of course I do have a few things I notice right off the bat, that could use editing, but unlike the other two I commented on, it does not NEED editing. The way your rhyme scheme is set up is a bit on the strange side, although it does seem to work perhaps it could use a second look? Again your title is rather bland, however for this poem, I think it does work. This poem shows me you have great potential as a poet and I think if you can find a way to incorporate this type of flow, into a non-rhyming poem you may just go somewhere with your poetry. Bravo Madam, Applause for you.
