I am nobody-
having one skin,
growing feeble
with a dying heart
I am love's,
orphan

Beautiful. I have indeed been to that place, and am glad to have moved on from there, but at the same time, will never forget. Your lament encompasses the desolate feeling of abandonment, and does so without briefly, succinctly. Thanks for this expression.

What an ending - this is exquisite, I love the reflection on yourself. The imagery and such simple but hard wording. Nicely penned.
Thanks for entering.
Much luck.
