Thank You
I try to run from this terrifying place,
Where anger and wrath show on my face,
Where tears always fall and pain is my life,
Where I need a hand, or I wouldnt survive.
I try to run from this frightening set,
But my agony from my past I can not forget,
And wherever I run, it follows me behind,
Till I don't trust myself, or mankind.
I try to run from this shocking room,
Where my life is just worries and gloom,
But wherever I am, there you always be,
Even though I tell you to forget about me.
I tell you I'm too scared, and to leave me alone,
But yet you stand by me, and keep me at home.
You never give up, though I walk away,
You always have the belief that I can be saved.
I know that it is terribly hard, but you try,
Though I push you away, you try to hold me when I criy
And although I am difficult, you always stand by,
You never give in to my wanting to die.
I run from a place of aching and shame,
Where I won't accept my face or my name.
Where it feels nobody love me, and my life is through,
I wanted to forget of my world, my fmily, and you.
But I wanted to run, so you would soon follow,
So you'd bring me home, and I'd be saved tomorrow.
And along you came; you brought me back home,
From a world where I was lost and on my own.
I would thank you, but it would be merely words,
To the ones who still helped me, though I caused them hurt.
Even "I love you" could never describe,
The way you stand by me when I want to die.
Thank you, I love you, you save me from shame,
When I am so close to falling into the grave.
It's true we can't talk nomore but,
word you have said help me out in this rut,
At times, you may feel, that you dont help my tears,
Or that you dont put aside my countless fears,
That you could do better, and help in more ways,
But if it wasnt for you I wouldnt be here today.
You are the best person that you know how to be,
Thank you for keeping, for caring and for loving me.
