I'm Lost In The Rain

I'm lost in the rain,
I'm cold and I'm wet,
It's getting darker slowly,
I can't find my way out yet.

I'm trucking through the puddles,
They're up to my ankles now,
If I ever get out of the rain,
I don't know freaking how.

I am swimming in my sorrows,
I still can't find my way,
I'm getting weak and I can't float,
I sink; drifting away.

Because I'm lost in this rain,
At first it was mist,
But as I waited and it grew,
Then I couldn't even resist.

I've drowned in it and now I'm gone,
I died in all this rain,
The only good thing that came of it all,
Is as did I; so did the pain.

    touching

This is definitely a very sad poem! it was beautiful tho... but filled with sorrow! I could feel the pain in your lines... It was just so depressing!

i notice one thing in many people... they usually involve rain when they are depressed... but to me, rain is a form of joy! it brings back purity to earth and my heart! But this was definitely an entertaining poem! Like it very much!

Thank you very much for entering my contest! I wish you all the best of luck in my contest!

    Much love always,
    Ranji
