time's must end
and friends must depart
people walk in and out
of your heart and mind
at some point
you have to say goodbye
and that
is the hardest thing
when someone has
been there always helping
pushing and supporting you
to the very end
and now they must depart
board a plane
and fly away from you
never to be seen again
you think;
of all the memories
the laughter and the tears
you didnt know each other long
but long enough to build
the greatest friendship
that in your heart
will last eternity
