Your Game of Seduction

There I am, sitting only feet from you.
The look in your eyes, telling me what's true.
I can feel your passion burning with your stare.
You try to lean closer with out moving your chair.

After a while, and lots of talk,
You say with a smile, let’s go for a walk.
You take my hand and we float outside.
The stars giving the garden a perfect vibe.

We find a bench, and you invite me to sit.
For awhile we just smile, it is completely quiet.
Then you call me beautiful and I call you sweet.
By now we are both sitting on the edges of our seats.

Arms length away and still we lean in.
With your hands you touch my bare skin.
I shiver, but it's good, it's hard to breathe.
And I just fell in love with the way you kiss me.

First my collar bone but you keep moving up.
Want bursts through my body with every touch.
This bench turned out to be a blessing.
All my real emotions you are repressing.

All I feel is want, a need to be with you.
It doesn't matter if this love is really true.
You've won me over I will give it all away,
But, only if you promise, with me, you sill stay.

I'll be empty here without you, and it won't be good.
Without you, we won't be all that we could.
The passion is so amazing. I swear you'll make me crazy.
Really, everything around me seems a little hazy.

Those thoughts all leave when you do.
I can't believe I gave that to you.
You took away what I thought I knew better.
I don't get phone calls, emails, or letters.

That is seduction I guess, you won me.
Then you left, you took away everything.
After you got what you wanted you said so long.
Leaving me weak, where I used to be strong.

But I guess that's your game of seduction,
You and your innocence destruction.

Author notes

Seduction:
noun: enticing someone astray from right behavior
noun: an act of winning the love or sexual favor of someone

I didn't use the picture, more just the word.
Thanks for the invite, but why did I get it?
I know I might be a little young for the whole thing, but I thought I did pretty good!!

hey this is Dani the judge of the contest. i meant to tell everybody that i will be as honest and harsh if i have to be. better hear the truth from someone now then the truth from the real critics later. you did a great job but on the scale of 1-10...i'll give you a 6. keep it up...you're gonna make it to the top.

This is a great write. It reminds me of my first love.. I was in denial, listened to his words, and promises... Believed in it... and there I was alone in the end, isn't seduction just the best!!!

    Sir Oliver

    Awesome!

Heartfelt and powerful. The change in direction in the second half felt like a roaring river.. the confusion and such. Followed bt the beauty of acceptance.
That's seduction I guess; You one me! I love it.

Alas, I have not figured out this voting process so all you can have is my admiration!
