The hills have eyes... apparently the trees do too! Chilling little Haiku...

Love the hoar frost scenes that this brings to mind - that winter wonderland appearance of fantasy and flight....

a stunning Ku Gary, but like Mary, I don't get the fanasty element pouring through... maybe you could have done a run of ku's to get the feel of it?? I dunno

but many many thanks for entering... and good luck too..

while i think this is a stunning bit of haiku-
i wonder about the fantasy element the contest
    expressed?
i am not sure i find that in this

i do love the hoar frost both here and while walking in the woods..

thanks so much for the entry

Perhaps, "Cat", I didn't elaborate on the "spectors" who inhabit this little poem...but they were inspired by my predawn drive to work the day I saw your contest posted . A very heavy hoar frost gave me the impression that the countryside was overtaken with mysterious observers.Your poetry challenge brought them back to my mind.
