(from ON THE ROAD, AGAIN / A YELLOW BUS BOOK coming in a week or so!)
We stopped at Universal,
where Lily's been before!
Because she knew her way around,
she took us on a tour.
We saw The Blue Man Group,
who put on quite a show,
They looked a lot like Mr Howard,
who had no hair to grow.
The Blue Men were as blue,
as Michelle's mystic eyes,
that were resting in a castle,
waiting for a sweet surprise.
We had breakfast with The Grinch,
and lunch with Spider Man,
two weeks before Christmas,
in a winter, wonderland.
Sue was with a band,
on Delancey Street,
She said that Cara Lou,
was grooving to the beat.
The little ones joined Barney,
for a sing-a-long,
with a little, drummer boy,
who drummed on every song.
All the kids saw Santa,
and Rudolp's shiny nose,
that was redder than the polish,
on Passion's painted toes!
At dusk we stopped to see,
Macy's Holiday Parade,
that was truly worth the wait,
even though it was delayed.
On 'Islands of Adventure',
there were many sights to see!
At Universal Studios,
Love is all you need!
We saw a Great White Shark,
Jurassic Dinosaurs and more,
along with Shrek and Donkey,
on Lily's lovely tour.

This is the THIRTY FOURTH piece for what will be my 24th book and the third book in my YELLOW BUS of PEACE & LOVE series of books of which I have 4 of planned - if all goes well. As with my LITTLE STAR books - my YELLOW BUS books are meant to be read from the first page to the last like the chapters of a novel.

A tour for us to enjoy
with fun along the way
is a gift that is precious
and that is all I can say

This is a fantastic journey. Universal Studios was one of my favourite experiences in Florida so I went there twice. It’s probably changed a bit since I as there but I remember Earthquake, Twister and Jaws, and on the nicer side there was E.T. which I thought was great even though it’s aimed at kids. The thing I remember the most clearly is the bird show with the brightly coloured macaws because they were so clever and funny. I think it’s also Universal that has a great water ride with huge tires, though I can’t be sure where it was because I went to most places including Wet’n’wild, SeaWorld, Animal Kingdom, MGM studios (didn’t do the tower of terror lol), plus went shopping a lot as most things in America are cheap compared to the UK. The night life is brilliant too.

LOL!!! Wicked! Barney, that takes me back some years mars bar was besotted with him when she was a baby LOL!!! What a wonderful time you are all having at Disney World thanks to Lily, it sounds so magical. Mmmm! what's this sweet surprise I'm waiting for, come on my Swtpoetryman spill the beans LOL!!!

Sounds like a great time!! Now a sing-a-long with Barney? I am sure all the young-uns enjoyed that, and if my brother was there, he would have joined right it, if we could have caught him long enough that is! He LOVES Barney! and me, well, not my favorite dinosaur, but that is ok!
