Moonlight
Catch the faerie’s wing
Illuminating through the night
Wind blowing through the trees
Flowers awaken
Spreading welcome arms
For dwellers of the night
Moon and stars unite in mystery
Chasing away the clarity of dawn
Unknown faces move through shadow
Unseen hands paw the moss
Apprehensive eyelids close
Ready to block out the faceless night
But awaken, creatures of the burned day!
Come, come out into the night
The mists dwell as one through the forests
Haunting the warmth of day
Pointed ears and quick moving eyes
The night has awakened
Come,
Phantom of the night!

beautiful imagery!

That's wonderful! The imagery is beautiful. I love anything that is mythical in any way, shape, or form. It's just such a wonderful thing to think about. Those that are unknown. It's sort of an escape I guess. Well your poem was a wonderfully written poem. I love the lines "Come, Phatom of the night" Those lines just made me love this poem even more. You did a great job with the structure as well. Nice job.
