Memories once claimed September, have come and gone
with birthday wishes, tears on my pillow
evaporated, sipped by another sunflower
placed on the timeless Dream to 'roar'
as silent winds, washed through your mane.
I wandered on clouds in circles~
chased the tail that continued to tease, playfully
but tip toed over your poetic words that lingered
on the Mind and in Spirit.
How I try to keep the essence
of the season alive and catch rainbows
just for a fraction of its aurae
and how you reach out half way
so I don't miss the color. [in Spirit]
You told me Santa would come, you claimed
to be the Gift bearer
for those nice sometimes naughty ladies and gentlemen;
mentioned also embraced extended family-friends.
I'm blessed to have received a generous Gift~
of your neverending friendship.

This has the tears flowing once again. What a great tribute to one loved and missed dearly
