Hush Little Baby.. don't you cry..
who's gonna wipe those tears
from your eyes?
It's so sad...
a shocking disgrace!
the reason for those tears
on your distressed
little face!
No mommy or daddy
to give you a hug
a kiss and a cuddle
and a big love.
No mommy or daddy
to put you to bed,
victims of war
now they're both dead!!
President Bush! and Prime Minister Blair!
can you tell this child
that you really care!
when tuck your children in bed
think of this war orphan
with both parents dead!
When protecting your children
from all of lifes harms.
Think of this little boy
without any arms!!
How dare you both smile
upon your face
as you both justify
this shocking disgrace!
Author notes
I will never forget the little boy who sobbed after losing his mother and father and both his arms, he looked about six. Next time I saw Bush and Blair on the television they were both laughing, how dare they!!!

Very interesting poem. I liked it. It has a strong message. Just one thing, it's Prime Minister Blair, not president Blair... But anyways, yes, Bush and Blair are the ones who opened a Pandora's Box in the Middle East...They are the ones who ended people's lives for oil...

YOU MAKE A STRONG AND IMPRESSIVE POINT!!!!
War always brings about sadness and heartache from the common people.
It bothers me also when our leaders go on tv and laugh with each other and make light of so many things around them and do not keep in mind all of the crying and heartache that has come about from their choice to fight. I am not saying that we should not have, in some ways I believe we did right as their was much killing of innocent people under his regime, but there is always much suffering from the ones who just wanted it to stop and did not go into battle themselves. They are the forgotten ones who were caught under fire between two forces. The innocent bystanders who sadly almost always are women and children.

Funny thing, I remember as a teenager saying I thought the presidents or leaders of countries should just get together and have an arm wrestling contest of something. Would be a whole lot more entertaining and certainly less bloodshed. God will be justified to wipe the whole works out.

Bravo well written With such sadness and truth
The presidents don't really see beyond there ego of going to war. Not the loss of our troops and the ophans this war is leaving. Family broken and let alone. Widows and children with out there fathers. It time for them to focuse on our people at home. Our homeless and sick. Your write really speak out to the world. But if only the presidents would listen.
