Town Of Ghosts

The gears fall off of a pendulum
The streetlights look up and down they come
Someone calls out and his voice is scratched
I raise my head and I turn back

He calls me life in his second breath
Turns around and he's looking at death
And together they go and together they go...

it's sort of about death...a kind of supernatural, metaphorical view to the whole thing. Kind of an imagined experience with the deceased, right before their death. stuff's falling down, you know, the world seems to be going to pieces, and the person is speaking to you.

    Concise!

"Less is more," or "A poem is the shortest distance between two words."
