Soon will come the time for my annual travel,
to carry gifts to children everywhere.
But more important is the magic that happens
as people feel more loving and care.
It is a joyous time all over the world,
though the celebrations may not be the same.
In them all, there seems to be,
just one theme holds true and remains.
Peace on Earth Good will to all,
though with all the conflicts that rage.
Governments squabble, countries unraveled,
and too many lives are taken away.
It is not for me to criticize,
nor be involved in religious debates.
Mine is only to bring happiness,
and put smiles on a child's face.
Although I am known by many names,
My message remains crystal clear.
