bi- polarized

My being is immersed
  in despair;
another fugue settled,
    ambushed senseless.

Chafing at unknowns,
  concerns alternate.
Competing in
    revolving arena
of divided mind.

Will optimism prevail?
    Polly return?
Stay tuned judgmental eyes,
you'll glimpse my affliction.

For rare will it be,

        i spill my stains

from the fabric of my core.

the way that you address eyes is gorgeous.
    "stay tuned judgmental eyes"
your word choice is perfect. from "fabric of my core" to "ambushed senseless" to ""chafing at unknowns". i never see words used like this. you've got a gorgeous writing style.
however, one of my best friends is bipolar, and this doesn't seem very bipolar to me.
otherwise, this is really pretty. minus the emo-ness, you've got talent girl.

p.s. perhaps bipolar brings you a writing gift, a duel
thinking to unravel, ravel, bring darkness into light,
and light into darkness. Keep writing will look
    forward to reading!

    Well Done

A personal affliction I too can relate too as an ongoing Bi-Polar 1, who suffers from delusions of grandeur as the ArchAngel Michael trying to sound his trumpet that Revelation is here already and the time for Peace and Zion is now. Hope this comment is well met.

    this is good

don't hurt your writing with too much emo-osity.
it was brilliantly done, maybe the question were a bit much. i loved that you used the word affliction. i never hear or see it.
