All Because Jesus Loves You

Frolicking among the snowflakes,
is the magical touch of Christmas.
Icicles hang from roof tops,
a sign of winter's kiss.

Laughter drift's with zephyr's whisper,
spreading the delight of children.
Bright smiles upon each face,
as they wonder when Santa's coming.

Merry times fill the homes with love,
joy is pure and true.
The season is such a beautiful one,
all because Jesus loves you!

This is an outstanding write. You sure had to use a lot of words. I think you did an excellent job with it.

Really an eye catching presentation you have created on this page. Works so well for this time of year. Words used very well in these lines - easy to read and understand.

I loved the imagery in your first stanza especially, though certain of winter's kisses I can well do without. I like how you've incorporated both the true and secular aspects of Christmas within your poem, but I suppose that even Santa has his roots in the spiritual.

A beautiful write and presentation. Good imagery, flow, rhyme and tone. Lovely depth of feeling. Nice descriptives. Skillful use of the word bank. Nice alliteration and assonance. Lovely closing verse. Well penned and much enjoyed.

Here you go again, making magic out of ordinary words-giving them life and pizazz!!!! All I want for Christmas is to have an ounce of the talent you have when it comes to writing (Lord, she wouldn't even miss it-so I think it's okay to borrow some from her, right?)
    Best wishes in the contest!

    Excellent

With this beautifully written poem, you have told the full story of Christmas. Both fantasy and spiritual emotions claimed me as I read it. This is a great entry and I wish you luck in the contest.
P.S. The snowflakes are a terrific addition to the image of winter.
    In God's Love,

    nice

Love the graphic and the point at the end. The piece has that nice Christmas feeling. Don't care for Santa but that's just me personally. It's a delightful piece.
