Its the magical time of year
When all you love come near
You sit by the fire
With wonder and desire
And all troubles disappear.
"Merry Christmas!" you call to the night
As the snow dances with its delight
And the night drifts away
And you start to say
"I think the future looks bright..."
The next day is covered in snow
Down the stairs purehearted they go
On the roof icicles hang
Out the door they do bang
To go frolicking into the snow.

You left us with the impression of the frolicking and fun the children have within the snow, Loved this part.
"Out the door they do bang
To go frolicking into the snow." gives great visual.
Warm thoughts,
