Genesis

adam
he is

a rembrandt drenched
in oils and sheen
on canvas rare
rich as the hues of love
shaded by life

what makes male
and what female
for gentle as his eyes
the brows which frame
his stare
so serious and strong

(just as two tender lips)

and carved from solid need

that paints her
eve

.

      Ah Precious ....

if it does not make sense, then of course you cannot judge it.

I would not hold it against you if you remove it then from your contest.

I read it again, and I still dont get it. I didnt find a common flow or complete thought. It just doesnt seem complete to me. That's just me though.

This is a perfect example of the way you paint with words. It shows the connection between Adam and Eve, and gives credit to our supreme Artist, whose works are so infinite and profound we often cannot fathom their depth. You did a great job with the descriptions you employed.

I like to write about Genesis too and this poem is written with a lot of crafts. Also, I know how this paintings works. Great job!

I hope it's fingerpaints... that would be fun. Probably the paint wouldn't be spread evenly if I did it, but then, everyone has their own style. The more I think, the more I want to do that... thanks for the idea... and the poem.
