Quo rules OK

Well what an evening I've just had
You would think that I'd gone mad
Jumping up and screaming out
Not a granny, more a lout.

Banging head and air guitar
Then a quick trip to the bar
Only to return again
To the songs of way back when.

I was rocking with the rest
Status Quo, they were the best
Energy, not see the like
As each cord they'd deftly strike.

Everyone was on their feet
Clapping, jumping to the beat
I was young and I was free
To think they're older still, than me.

Not a granny, more a lout.

Some nice vocabulary and this line i thought made it flow with a bit of laugh. The ending

"to think they're older still then me

    prehaps still older instead...

but i wasn't sure what you meant there but the imagery was nice
