beyond a Murial design
a land of paradise
a magical illusion
in beautiful disguise
where cotton candy blooms
and candy apples grow
colorful tuliped lollipops
and ice-cream made of snow
gummy bears dance and sing
licorice grows in vines
chocolate covered cones
fall from fudge-dipped pines
butterflies with neon wings
angels nestled in between
hum in perfect rhythm
with hummingbirds that sing
there you can sit for hours
and lazily nap and dream
and quench your thirst, if you desire
from a rainbow colored stream

As I read this, I could hear Leon Redbone singing The Chocolate Bonbon Ball in the background, what a great take on the prompt, which represented vegetal growth. You ran with this - of course the land of paradise is a beautiful garden, and you went in and described the good things in it. Well written and descriptive poem, a lot of fun. Thank you.
