Immortality

There once was a little girl
who dreamed of nothing more
then to travel to another world

In the world she dreamed
there were no rushing cars
smoking up the brisk morning air

There were no moms
being too busy to play
or not being able to say
'I love you'

At the playgound
no bullies came around
and there was always time
to play one more time

There were no colds or cuts
to make us feel bad
just chocolate
to make us feel glad

But as she got older
her dream seemed to fade
until she had to type
a poem one day

After reading it
she explained

'I know I will die one day,
and then maybe my dreams will come true
but let these words speak to you."

"I know I'm not prefect,
it's want makes me unique.
I know the world in not prefect,
and we leave it how it is.
If it anything is ever to change
we need to think about today
and not tomorrow.
For none of us will live forever,
we are all mortal.
But prehaps, if we lived each moment as if it's the last
then perhaps, we will find a life that will not pass."

nicely done , great way to use both options in your poem. I like the way you wrote it from the little girls point of view. because kids see things so much differnt in this world and thank you for sharing !!

    In these lines:
    "and there was always time
    to play one more time"
I would change the last part to "play one more game", because saying 'time' two times doesn't really sound good. Also, you should read through the last stanza, since there are quite a few errors.
Other than that, this is really beautiful. You truly captured the unsaid within the quotes. Good job!
