Aluminum

Jammed
Into a left-brained world
I watch Alice slip down the rabbit hole
unescorted.

She
to suffer her premature burial
and I to slowly slip
into an aluminum based
amnesia.

Author notes

I have a feeling I will have to explain this one. Not only is my work sucking up all my time it is forcing me into a left-brain (math, columns, logic) thinking pattern 10 hours a day.

This is taking me further and further away from the intuitive. I miss Alice.

Please tell me what you think

I liked this poem. I think you have strayed from the left-brained world, and I enjoyed the excursion. Your phrasing and enjambment were refreshing.
