like lemon drops from
the heavens.
As feathery clouds gather
into cottoncandy clusters.
The wind swoons across
an iris colored canvas
of celestial brilliance.
As birds fly southward
in rotation around a
setting sun.
Twilight enters with a kiss
of purple passion elegance.
The stars glitter like
diamond sapphires.
Silence embraces the
atmosphere with glee.
As nocturnal creatures
echoe in sweet refrain.
Enchantment beguiles the gods
with melodic serenity.
As the moonlight peaks
in luminous fluorescence.
Captivated by the frivolity
of omniscience.
