Behind her eyes
Twinkle the stars
They burn for him
But as she smiles
Igniting the stars within
He walks on by
The rose's petals wilt
The drops of dew weep
And the wind keeps blowing
Breezing through the sweet petals
Gone again in a moment

Painful indeed, but there's a charm to it despite that hurt. The contrast between pleasure and pain, how one's indifference can cause such powerful emotions within us.
Nicely done.
