love is not a Boolean value,
we agreed, but
how itchy the sweater felt
underneath my feet
waiting
for your keyboard to dry
– you wanted salvation
through technology
and pixel days,
i expected perception
that’s more than
a video game –
we bookmarked
perfection
to read each other
instead

Well done. I love how you referenced several areas- math, computers, literature. Enjoyed it! Thanks for entering.

What is love but a sum of electrons flowing to random accessed memories? I like your style here, not too heavy handed or emotionally flat. Elegantly ironic, you have a talent for catching a crackling undercurrent of halted emotion. This creates a level of intensity that seeps out between the lines.
Very impressive.

That last stanza is strongest to me, I really like the direction you took this in, even though to me it reads more technical than industrial (they can interchange)
Thanks so much for entering, and good luck.
