wisps of white breath
wave hello and goodbye
before me as I stood
alone covered head to toe
in coats, socks, mittens.
closing my eyes
I pray that when
I finally open them,
you'd be right there smiling
as if nothing had ever happened.
Author notes
I never even experienced snow. I live in the Philippines, a country which normally does not receive any snow or hail. Only in the cold areas such as Baguio will there be anything close to it. It sometimes hails there.

Really wonderful image you created with the cool breath in this. Short, to the point, but there is an impact with this.
Good luck. Thanks so much for entering.

Kumusta kaibigan? This reminds me the first time I saw/touched snow and how thrilled I was but the thrill was short-lived, kasi nanginginig sa lamig. This is a neat snippet. Keep penning.
