Blessings fall
like gilded autumn
rise and swirl on winds
bringing beauty to sight,
these tender moments make memory
links in the chain of a life;
friendship is chancing love
finds us like faith and fortune
changing colors of our skies.

What a wonderful way to express friendship, "fresh pages of life sharing sunshine," even when separated by distance. This certainly describes my long-time friendships well, especially the long-distance ones.
