Last Minute Goodbyes

The clock strikes 12
12 at noon
It's the third train of the day
But surely it's not the last

There stands a silly faced boy
And a silly faced girl
Emotions are running high
And the tears are about to fall

Nobody says nothing
But the silence says it all
No need for small chit chat
Their body language said it all

No one was suppose to get hurt
But in the end two lives were ruined
By the story telling and the lies
All they did was die inside

So as the silly faced boy
Kissed the silly faced girl goodbye
He knew it had ended
But of course he had tried

He loved her more than anything
He would of layed down and died
But this silly faced girl
Never knew what she wanted

Than the clock striked 12:01
And they knew it was time
They hugged and they cried
And said their last minute goodbyes

The silly faced girl ran to the train
She turned her head back and put out a smile
That silly faced boy never forgot that lovely smile
It burned in his memories like ever white lie

[She couldn't even love him even if she tried]
