Thoughts seen in eyes amorous,
warm lips begging to be kissed.
This feeling deep inside my heart,
bearing my soul from the start.
Emotions stirred our first kiss,
now we dwell in heavenly bliss.
came to know and to understand,
what a feeling this is so grand.
Soft melody, a breath of spring,
coming to be my everything.
Waking thoughts are not my own,
nighttime dreams no longer alone.
Cupid's arrow shot in the air,
leaving breathless this lady fair.
Passion, tenderness always shown,
gentle touches longing has grown
Yes smitten the day we met,
from that day there was no regret.
A bond of one formed from two,
cherish forever as feelings grew.

VERY GOOD
Here everything is impermanent, yet to think something to be everlasting and cherish it shows how deeply we feel about it. In this lies the root of the belief of an after life and the existence of a spiritual order in the universe. This is how love enobles and uplifts us to a heaven which may be an illusion to a philosopher or a scientist yet it is a heaven to the lovers. A very sweet love poem I enjoyed very much. -
