A fire --- ablaze!
in your eyes
That fire --- a haze!
never to be disturbed

A passion --- reborn!
alive again
That passion --- once dead!
buried with fellow sin

I see it now, rather clear ---
Spinning out of control
I feel it now, it's rather clear:
It's taking a toll on you

I hear it now, undoutedly clear ---
Yelling out of rage
I know it now, it's undoubtedly clear:
It took a toll on you

    Very good imagery. Haunting in its affect. Nice word usage. I could definitely see this as one of Poe's writes. I am a fan of his work. Even the writing style with the dashes at odd intervals fits with his writing.
