Take heart, oh bravery
for to fight for freedom is to be truly free
even to die is a better way
than to pass through life in captivity
Fear not, oh warring soul
living with a heart that is all your own
in the end, wars will end
and all will be as it was when we began
when everything was well
The flight of tremor heart
will remain forever true
if the oracles speak their mind
freedom will reign in you
But be warned, for this is no easy way
to learn of love and of life's harshest sway
that all we hold to is dust at the end
where worth is found in all within
so take hear, oh fearful soul
you fight this war not alone
him whose bonds are broken
will there forever stay
for freedom comes to the broken
and love is found in shame
