"Dog come here!"
I hear them shout,
And then through the woods they scout.
Looking, looking,
here and there,
But they cannot find him, no, nowhere!
"Dog come HERE!"
They angrily call,
And decide to throw him the well worn ball.
Then to the place where they dropped it the run,
Under the boiling, Blazing sun.
And in the end they find him there,
Smug and happy,
Looking worse for wear!
