Tears of Sorrow

Tears of Sorrow

B
lackened wings and tears of sorrow
send me to this darkened morrow.
Cast from heaven and thrones of kings;
tears of sorrow and blackened wings.

To seal my fate, I must resign
condemned to live as lowly swine.
Cast from heavens golden gate,
I must resign to seal my fate.

From glory I have been set free
O ravens will you welcome me?
Once you hear my woeful story;
I have been set free from glory.

O darkened raven I am so scared,
I’m cast away and no one cared.
Take me in please give me haven,
I am so scared, O darkened raven.

Tears of sorrow and blackened wings.
Condemned to live with mortal strings,
flightless as a broken arrow.
Blackened wings and tears of sorrow.

    You know wherever I see sad content I must click. The urge builds up even more when it's from someone who writes good.
    When someone who writes excellent writes in my taste [like you] there is no stopping my comment.

    This is personally one of my favourite forms, including your creation the swap couplet - which is in my opinion, absolutely magnificent. I should learn to spell that.

    Do I need say more? This is Brilliant!
    And even if you didn't do well n the contest, you're bound to do better in other contests with this same write - it's as brilliant as that.

    Never ♥

    How do you make the dark works so attractive? It is a gift, I guess. This is one fantastic image, and the construction of the form flawless. Looks like a winner to me.
