Behold The Dawn of the Rising Sun

If I could erase the yesterdays,

the ones that seem to have left their pain behind;

I would reshape them into sharpy rainbows,

one hurt at a time.

I can't even predict your tomorrows,

only can wish for every Dawn to be bright;

every Dusk to wrap into gentle,

the day that just came to pass.

So I will cast wishes upon times still to come

and write these words with a smile;

a smile that will break out into a thousand,

-may you claim each one as your own-

I am sending you time for sweet slumber,

where dreams reconcile the past;

may the bring soothing balm of gentle healing

and sing the lullabies of inspiration.

So please accept across the miles,

these words of courage wrapped in Hope;

step into the midst of their circle

and pick up the shards of that smile.

Behold the Dawn of the East,

where you shall see the rising Sun;

walk away from the shadows,

those that obstructed yesteryears light.

    This has a real pure sentiment to it and a wonderful message, but...it just isn't making me feel good, maybe if you had shown me HOW you would erase the yesterdays or what kind of wishes you would cast upon times to come...more personal I guess...if that makes sense...anyway thanks for trying, I did enjoy reading it.

      thank you so much for your honest comment. Yes, it was and is pure sentiment [but in a general sort of way] Not knowing you , or anything about you , except that you seem to be feeling down] it made it impossible to get more personal and even attempt to explain how I would erase the past , as I do not know what it is in your past possibly that I could erase....or even what kind of wishes I would cast upon the future. I fully understand what you are trying to say....so as a final note by osmosis I am casting wishes of happiness and inner Peace upon the first evening star that I shall see tonight
      respectfully,
      reenie

        By showing me and being more personal....I guess I was thinking that even without knowing me...you could have just for example taken me by the hand and led me to a hidden paradise and explain our wonderful day in more detail that sort of thing. I guess I'm kinda being selfish with the emphasis on ME Not so much on well wishes or words of encouragement.

    Yeah, there is always another day. We are bigger than the things that happen to us, be they good or bad. We move on and they become past. We create how we shall be about it as you have shown so well. As always the sunshine you are made of comes through.
    Love, Tom B.
