garden

in the valley of the dream

where my being draws its breath

young blossoms sprout sunward

from a vast hidden eden

roots course through worn footprints

left in unyielding stone

turned to soil by the progeny

of a seed you once planted

    excellent

Everything is a dream. Without dreams life would have no magic or beauty within.

All it takes is a seed, harvest is inevitable if planted in fertile ground, watered, given enough sunlight, and carefully nurtured.

    Loved this!

I yearn for this place, although I have felt it inside many times.

Excellent! I wish you well in the challenge.

    Much Love ♥

Perhaps we should reconsider our beliefs. The scale of its projections is too constricted to do justice to the truth. Perhaps this is what we should perpetually be doing, in order to keep the hope alive that we may one time have some measure of understanding of the truth. Eden in my view is approaching the size of the universe. I thought my thoughts made me some type of a recluse. I guess I have to rescale once more. Thank you for creating and sharing and good luck in the contest. Take care,

    Chris

    Very nice indeed ...

are you returning to Iowa for Xmas?

ArtFullyMe seems to have managed to say everything I could have said about this, so I will just applaud it and move on like an .org.

    Happy Holidays.

I'm glad you resurrected it ..

Curious, how much imagery this captures for me.. everything from a literal backyard garden to more figurative ones.
The little touches like eden make it reach further, as do the footprints, and yet it could be yesterday..

    Wonderfully timeless either way.
