First to be born, the whole world awaits
A precious gift from heavens gate
A mirror image of dad, the personality of mom
Such a good baby, so happy and calm
As the years passed, many things change
Nothings the same, priorities rearranged
Extremely bright, knows more than most
Around his father, he is much like a ghost
He struggles to cope with the differences now
To find a way to fit in somehow
He's not like his DAD, no interest the same
DAD likes to hunt, he likes his game
Neither understanding the other ones view
I am not sure they even want to
When will it stop? When will it end?
When will his DAD become his friend?
Hopefully soon, before its too late
Until then I will patiently wait
To lend some support and an open heart
till the gap between them isn't so far apart
Author notes
This I wrote about my oldest son and his father, they are so different and just cant seem to come together, it breaks my heart!

some people are set in their ways, no matter what you do somethings will never change. the key here is acceptance and make peace with it all. make it right for you.

This is very sad, but sometimes things just are the way there are. They probably love each other deep down though Great write
